Giving Back
"In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi
At Alumnus, we believe impact begins with intent. Our CSR efforts are entirely voluntary, born out of conviction, not compliance. Here’s how we try to give back, in ways that matter.
Enabling Minds
Research. Education. Access.
We’ve funded multi-year research in Computational Biology, supported student travel to global conferences, and offered book and tuition grants to deserving learners. Our summer training camps in embedded systems and networking create industry-ready engineers - some of whom are now part of Alumnus itself.
Empowering Expression
Liberal Arts That Shift Perspectives
We offered acclaimed writer Manoranjan Byapari a writer-in-residence scholarship during a difficult time. What followed was national recognition, published works, and restored dignity. His journey reminds us that investing in the arts is as vital as investing in technology.
Honouring the Explorers
Adventure as Knowledge-Seeking
From retracing the path of the INA led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to documenting untold stories from remote corners of history, we support expeditions that challenge the known. Adventurer Anindya Mukherjee, our 'Person of the Year' in 2020 and 2021, embodies this spirit.
Standing with Communities
When Crisis Strikes, We Step Up
Be it floods, cyclones, or other disasters, Alumnus employees rally behind those in need. From Amphan in Bengal to the Himalayan Tsunami in Uttarakhand, we’ve extended both financial and on-ground aid. Giving, for us, is a shared instinct, not an instruction.
