TLS-based Network Security

Alumnus has over a decade of experience in developing network applications using TLS stacks like OpenSSL, MbedTLS and wolfSSL.

These have been used in diverse contexts – for example, to implement a TLS proxy for middleboxing encrypted traffic; for securing embedded file transfer and robotics applications; and to parse certificates in Deep Packet Inspection.

Alumnus continues to maintain the applications by adding support of stronger ciphers, newer TLS versions and porting the applications to newer TLS library versions. This has given us a strong knowledge of encryption and security in general, and an understanding of the direction in which the standards are proceeding, thereby placing us in a good position to help clients build network security solutions.
