Of late, due emphasis has been placed on health and lifestyle because of the times we have been living in. As Benjamin Franklin put it, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” We have the state-of-the-art technology that we require in order to avert something unpleasant.
Along those lines, we were part of an innovative method of measuring blood glucose levels for an international marketing company that offers holistic products. It was a non-invasive method that did away with the pricking of the skin to obtain values and so, was pain-free. A health wearable in the form of a smart watch did the work of monitoring blood glucose levels in real time.
Alumnus also built an app, linking it to the watch so that a viewer could monitor his/her basic health metrics including respiration rate, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels.
Driven by AI, the watch notifies any deviation in the health parameters by providing personalized insights.
