The task was to develop the entire software stack for a bicycle smart lock. The big challenge was a very constrained hardware (to achieve a competitive retail price) and integrating Apple Find My.

• Enables location tracking.
• Supports cryptographic coprocessor for secure operations
• Low-footprint firmware (64 KB RAM / 512 KB Flash) with power optimization
• Entirely built out of Alumnus, at a fraction of the original budget.

We additionally built the cloud backend for lock registration, access control, and telemetry. Native iOS and Android apps were developed for end-users. The entire solution was built by Alumnus at a fraction of the original budget.
