Alumnus has extensive experience of nearly a decade in Network Testing domain; both in the tools as well as test suites development, and hence carries a rich repertoire of experience in the development of Automated Test Tools. These tools address a variety of testing situations. Alumnus today can claim to have excellent understanding and experience in developing Performance, Conformance and Interoperability Test suites for Networking Protocols.

Our expertise includes

Development of Simulators, Load Generators, Regression Tools, and Configuration of entire test platform involving multiple tools, servers, workbench and proprietary software for integration
Competence in implementing special purpose protocol daemons (These daemons can simulate a large number of protocol nodes and extremely large virtual networks. Alumnus has successfully developed protocol daemons for multi platform and single threaded environments. The suite of protocols includes unicast and multicast Routing Protocols for both IPv4 and IPv6.)

Further magnifies the above in orders of magnitude by simulating thousands of realtime user-end-points; with application (layer-7) protocol daemons. Includes FTP, HTTP, HTTPS

Performance Monitoring Tools:
Alumnus has successfully implemented load generation and performance monitoring tools in streaming protocols arena. In the form of distributed network of load generators and sniffers; controlled from a central management unit. It provides a range of mechanisms to the user for defining the load generation patterns; as well types of statistics to be collected. The output is available in graphical as well as report format.
